November 2008 KORE nabs second at Baja 1000. The 2008 SCORE Baja 1000 was marked by relentless terrain diversity and technical sections not seen in years.  Fresh from an important victory at the Primm 300, General Tire’s Team KORE was poised to tackle the course. (more)

 

November 2008 KORE Launches Prerunner system for Dodge Ram 1500 trucks after winning Best New Product award at the Off Road Impact show, competing against hundreds of new products.  (more)

 

 

September 2008 KORE wins Primm 300. The Primm 300 is the roughest, most brutal race in the SCORE series.  Hundreds of miles of rocks, sand and cross-grain pit drivers not only against each other, but against the terrain.  Angered by a 3rd place finish at “Vegas to Reno” only two weeks prior, Team KORE worked non-stop, completely rebuilding the Power Wagon in record time. August 2008 KORE launches Recon and Technical Series suspension systems for Jeep JKs, both of which are designed to keep the geometry of your JK spot-on while greatly increasing ground clearance and ride quality.

 

 

June 2008 KORE launches first coil-over system for Toyota Tundra trucks, providing 2-4 inches of lift, improved ride quality, and 12.4 inches of quality wheel travel - more wheel travel than the front of most dirt bikes. (more)

June 2007 Kent Kroeker stands on the podium again for Second Place in the 2007 SCORE Baja 500. First ever finish of a 5.7 liter Hemi V-8 in professional desert racing. (more)

 

 

February 2007 KORE's trademark "Desert Assault" is issued to KORE by the USPTO.

February 2007 Kent Kroeker submits two patents for components that will again change the industry

 

February 2007 KORE Beast appears as cover truck and feature article for March 2007 issue of "Off Road Magazine" It all started five years ago. The top-secret Off-Road magazine satellite network started to collect spy images of 8,000-pound, Cummins-powered Dodge Rams flying through the air. Since we hadn't seen many Dodge trucks taking flight since Walker Evans was doing it 20 years ago, we decided to investigate further. What we discovered was Kroeker Off Road Engineering, codename "KORE." (more)

 

 

January 2007 KORE reconfigures the Beast, experimenting with changes in polar-moment. In order to optimize traction and the performance of the rear suspension of the new Hemi race truck, KORE experiments on The Beast by reconfiguring the rear tube work. (more)

 

 

January 2007 Kent Kroeker awarded "High Riser of the Year" at the Off Road Impact show in Las Vegas. A former Marine, Kroeker started building suspension products in his garage. "If every day you're not doing something scary, you're not living." (more)

December 2006 KORE acquires and begins to build out a new Stock Full race truck powered by a "Hemi" V-8. KORE is currently building a Hemi-powered, regular cab race truck that uses Fox 4.3 inch bypass shocks in a unique configuration designed by Kent Kroeker. The 2007 Baja 500 will be its first race. July 2006 U.S. Utility Patent No.: 7,077,371 issued to Kent Kroeker for his "shock absorber mounting assembly." We believe that when it's time to sell your truck, you should be able to remove your suspension and use it on your next one. Well-thought-out parts should also go on easily. December 2005 KORE releases the KORE/Fox 2.0 Pro-Series equipped Chase Series suspension systems. All weather, all terrain. The CHASE SERIES uses the same high-performance VR coils and mini leaf packs as the RACE SERIES and incorporates a shock that has been specially-engineered to fight any abuse you can dish out.  (more)

July 2005 KORE introduces the Race Series Track Bar

 

 

 

May 2005 KORE brings its race-proven, consumer-friendly version of the variable pitch coil spring to mass market, rebadges it "VR" for "variable rate." KORE developed these coil springs to tackle the Baja 1000. Imagine a street ride that is softer than stock, yet with more roll-resistance for cornering and less dive for braking.  Arguably the most advanced coil springs on the market. March 2005 KORE introduces the patent pending "Billet Drop Block" -patent pending application no. 29/240,112. The purposes of the Billet Drop Block is to relocate the anti-sway bar rotating point downward, to a more neutral position. This takes pressure off of your end-links, thereby taking the anti-sway bar, which is an integral part of your suspension, out of the equation for the first few inches of wheel travel.  (more)

November 2004 KORE introduces its Race Series steering stabilizer.  Patent pending - application no. 29/240,113. KORE is not price-point driven, KORE is technology driven. At KORE, there is no acceptable return rate. There is no acceptable failure rate.KORE builds the best products using the best engineering and the best materials we know of. If there's a better way to do it we're probably already working on it. (more)
 

November 2004 KORE petitions SCORE to permit rear shocks to protrude through the bed of Stock Full race vehicles.  Sal Fish calls the KORE "Beast" race legal.
 

November 2004 Kent Kroeker Solos the Baja 1000, places third, then drives same truck home the next day.  It is the first Cummins-powered vehicle to cross the finish line of the Baja 1000. Kent drove for 29 hours 23 minutes and 10 seconds, bringing the Dodge Ram across the finish line and directly to the podium. (more)

 




October 2004 Using patent-pending shock mounts, KORE fits first 3" x 11" travel Fox shocks and Kroeker-designed variable-pitch coil springs on front of a Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. For the UNLIMITED and RACE SERIES, our patented Hybrid mount system permits our specially-designed, proprietary 2.5" diameter racing shock to be bolted into the stock location.
